Glimmers from Nature

Sometimes hope is something we have to practice.

For me, part of that practice is paying attention. Bumblebees still land on flowers. Spring ephemerals still bloom. Mushrooms still grow.

These small moments don't erase what's painful or frightening about the world. They remind me that beauty and goodness still exist alongside it—and give me reasons to keep caring about what happens next.

Glimmers from Nature grew from those moments: twelve small pastel paintings of ordinary beauty that asked me to stop long enough to notice.
