The Creative Mutual Aid Network is a free, community-driven directory designed to help creatives share skills, offer physical resources, and ask for what they need—without shame, without gatekeeping.
Whether you’re a visual artist with extra supplies, a musician in need of equipment, a writer offering editing help, or someone looking to barter for web design, this space exists to help us take care of each other.
How It Works:
Browse the Directory: Find other creatives near you—or across the globe—who are offering skills, sharing supplies, or looking for connection.
Submit Your Listing: Use the form to share what you have, what you need, and how others can reach you. Add your social handles, disciplines, and tags to make your listing easier to find.
Search by Skill, Need, or Location: Looking for someone to collaborate with? Want to pass along unused art materials? Searching for help in your creative practice? Filter the database to find your match.
Why This Exists
Too many creatives are doing too much with too little. This network was created to help us redistribute what we already have—to reduce waste, build connections, and nurture mutual support. We’re stronger when we support each other. And we’re not meant to do this alone.
What About Privacy?
You choose what to share. You can list just a region (like "Midwest") instead of an exact address. Your email is only visible if you choose to include it. You’re in control (and your information will NEVER be sold).
This Is an Ongoing Experiment
Like most creative projects, this is evolving. It’s imperfect and I only kind of know what I’m doing. But it’s built on trust, generosity, and the belief that there’s enough to go around when we share what we have.
